What Is Comistar

Comistar was founded in 2012 and kick-started its operations in 2013. Comistar started out simply advising tax structures, as a traditional consulting company. It was in 2017, not long after Xolo has disrupted the market, that Comistar moved into the world of e-Residency. Comistar became an e-Residency partner in 2018. After this, they started to look into providing more help to those who have more complex needs.

Now that we know what each company offers its clients, how much will they cost? We’ll be going over the pricing for both Xolo and Comistar in comparison to each other. First, we’ll start with Xolo’s prices for their subscriptions.

Xolo Pricing

Xolo offers four different subscription choices to their customers. Anybody can make use of Xolo Go for free. The drawback of this free service is the lack of tools you will receive in return. Note that these prices don’t include the 20 percent VAT charge and you’ll still be required to pay the €220 state fee to finalize your company’s set-up.

Comistar Pricing

 Comistar offers more tailor-made pricing plans. For a fixed €25 per month, you can get access to Zero to Scale legal templates, Zero to Scale e-Residency tutorials, Zero to Scale banking marketplace.
You’ll also have your own Estonian Company, a legal address in Estonia and an authorized contact person to receive documents on your behalf in Estonia.
For €89 per month, you’ll gain access to all the previously mentioned benefits, plus the added bonus of an invoicing module, EORI registration, a unique VAT number, EU VIES registration, 30-minute consultation sessions, assistance with your monthly tax requirements, and accounting, and a complete annual expense report.
For €159 per month, you’ll have access to all the perks mentioned in the previous two sections. Along with these, you’ll also have a complete tax consultation once per quarter of the year. You’ll also gain access to platform businesses and MOSS too. But, if none of these plans meet your unique wants, Comistar offers the ability to create your own plan, unlike Xolo.

Which One Is for You

In terms of which one is for you, it’s pretty simple. If you’re a person with less complex and more direct wants and needs, then Xolo does have more direct and simplified way of approaching things. But, for more detailed and complex services that are tailor-fitted to what you need, Comistar could be for you.
